Purpose of the Job:

In the first three months, you’ll be learning various tasks and building essential skills. Your main duties will involve covering (masking) and uncovering (de-masking) parts that need to be coated. You may also help with cleaning, preparing surfaces, and checking the quality of the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow set instructions, work guidelines, and safety procedures, both written and verbal.
• Perform basic masking and de-masking tasks, checking your work for quality. Use small tools, microscopes, and other equipment as needed.
• Complete Masker certification (training provided).
• Check your own work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling procedures as needed.
• Be punctual and maintain good attendance.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work in a clean room environment when required, following clean room and hygiene protocols, including wearing protective gear.
• Keep your work area neat and clean.
• Help in other areas or with additional tasks as needed.

Basic Skills Required:

• Able to read, write, and speak clear English.
• Understand written and spoken instructions.
• Perform basic math.
• Comfortable working seated for long periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination for precise masking work.
• Able to tell apart colours like red, orange, yellow, blue, green, and violet.
