Door Supervisor Training Course
The Door Supervisor course is the perfect course to start your career in the Private Security Industry. The course prepares you to work in a huge variety of roles including Retail Security, Door Supervision, Corporate Security and Event Security. The course covers everything from the legal aspects of working in security to the latest physical intervention techniques. We highly recommend getting a door supervisor license over a security guarding license. The door supervisor covers versatile license and allows to work in corporate security, retail security and door supervision. The role is extremely demanding so it’s important to get the best quality training before you kickstart your new career.
You must pass a basic level of English test before you attend this course. You will need to be at least 18 years old, have proof of ID (passport, driving licence, etc.) and proof of address (utility bills, bank statement, etc.).

1. Passport Copy or Driving Licence or BRP
2. Proof of address (no more than 3 months old). Any of 2x documents – Bank Statement or Utility bills or Pay slip or GP Letter or NI Letter or P60/P45.

What's included in the course?
It is mandatory for all applicants applying for a security licence to have a valid Emergency First Aid at Work qualification or equivalent. The qualification must be valid for at least one year.

What documents do I need to provide for the Door Supervisor training?
It is mandatory that you provide the following documents before the course starts:
· Original Passport that is signed, current and valid
· 2x Proof of Address (no more than 3 months old)
· 2x Passport sized photos in colour

How long is the duration of the Door Supervisor course?
Our Door Supervisor runs for 6 days. It will be an extra day if you are doing the Emergency First-Aid at Work training course as well.

When can I apply for a SIA licence?
You can apply for a SIA licence as soon as you have received your qualification. Please make sure you have all the right documents as checks will be performed during your application.

Do I need an Emergency First-Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification to take the Door Supervisor training?
Yes. In compliance with the changes made by the SIA in 2021, it is mandatory that you complete an Emergency First-Aid at Work qualification (or equivalent) before taking the Door Supervisor training. We provide a discounted package if you do decide to complete your EFAW course with us.

When will I receive my results?
Your results will be sent to you within 10-14 days after your exams.
Will I receive physical copies of my Door Supervisor and Emergency First-Aid at Work Certifications?
No. Once we receive your results, we will send you your E-certificates via email. You will not need your certificates to apply for a SIA licence as your details will be automatically passed on to the SIA once you have passed.
What do I do if I fail my course?
You will have the option to retake exams for the failed module/s at a later date at one of our offices
How can I pay for this course?
You will receive an invoice via email once you have been registered onto our system. You will be able to pay directly using your credit/debit card or by using PayPal. You may also pay via bank transfer – the details will be listed on the invoice.
Can I pay by cash?
Yes. You can pay by cash by visiting one of our offices.
How long is my SIA licence valid for?
Your SIA licence is valid for 3 years. You will have to renew your licence every 3 years.
What jobs can I do with a Door Supervisor licence?
With a Door Supervisor licence, you can work as a door supervisor, security guard, event security, airport security and many more other roles. This licence allows you to work in licensed premises such as bars and nightclubs.
