Job description

We’re looking for an experienced and qualified Security Tutor for:

  • Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry Training Course
  • Security Officers in the Private Security Industry Training Course
  • Top Up Courses for Door Supervisor and Security Officer
  • CCTV Operator Training Course
  • Emergency First Aid at Work Training Course

The ideal candidate should have plans and implementation skills and be able to deliver courses anywhere when required. All the course material will be ready and provided at the venue.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering training courses on a variety of security topics, such as first aid, door supervision, security guarding, CCTV operation.
  • Assessing learners’ knowledge and skills through written and practical assessments.
  • Providing feedback to trainees on their performance and helping them to develop their skills.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest security industry regulations and best practices.
  • Keeping records of trainees’ progress and assessment results.
  • Reporting to the organisation on any incidents or concerns that arise during training.
  • Providing administrative support by screening and verifying the learners group A (Photo ID proofs) and group B (address proof) documents.
  • Recording all required practical assessment videos and uploading the recorded file on to the designated folder of the drive link provided the organisation.
  • Manage data for learners including initial assessment, enrolment, and daily registration and ensure all requests for support needs are processed efficiently.

In addition to these general duties, SIA trainers may also be responsible for:

  • Developing new training materials and resources.
  • Mentoring and supporting new SIA trainers.
  • Representing the organisation at remote courses.

 

Requirements:

  • Highfield accreditation required
  • The Level 3 Award in Education and Training(QCF)
  • NQF/QCF Level 3 in the delivery of conflict management training
  • The Level 3 Award for delivery of Physical Intervention Training in the Private Security Industry (QCF)
  • First Aid at Work qualification required

 

Location: Aldershot, Ashford, Swindon, Nuneaton, Reading, Hayes (locations not limited as the centre is expanding)
