Product Auditor (Full-Time)

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Product Auditor to join their quality team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming, outgoing, and in-process products to ensure they meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.

The successful candidate will carry out detailed inspections using engineering drawings and technical documentation, operate precision measuring instruments, and work closely with the Quality and Engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards and supporting continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming, outgoing, and in-process products against customer specifications and internal standards

  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

  • Use precision measuring instruments and inspection tools to verify product quality and conformity

  • Ensure masking and de-masking procedures are carried out correctly according to specifications

  • Complete Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs) and report quality issues identified during inspections

  • Support root cause analysis investigations alongside the Quality and Engineering teams

  • Maintain accurate inspection documentation and records

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Product Auditor, Quality Inspector, or Quality Technician in an engineering or manufacturing environment

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams

  • Experience using measurement tools and inspection equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification

  • Strong manual dexterity and visual acuity, including colour vision

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety and quality standards
